High temp
The Norwegian summer hasn't taken global warming to new heights. It turns out that the temperature sensor has stopped the sensorship. As a result, the car doesn't want to charge the battery because the outdoor temperature is too high. Surely a nice safety precaution when the outdoor temperature is too high. Alas, out looking for a new temperature sensor. It can't be that difficult to do a home repair. Toyota in Trondheim can provide such a sensor in a couple of days for NOK 1483. Scuderia Car Parts in the UK provides the same sensor for a fraction of the money. I order two fractions and get them delivered on the doorstep the next day.
The job takes half an hour and the temperature returns to normal.
